Several customers who reviewed this camcorder mentioned that it had good features. Pcworld.com_techhive.com wrote six years ago “Good range of features for the price” however despite that they gave it a rating of 3 stars.

Good Size

One Memorex MyVideo owner who purchased it wrote that it was lightweight. Six years ago Pcworld.com_techhive.com said in their Memorex MyVideo review “Supremely lightweight 3.8 ounces”.

Good Connectivity

One Memorex MyVideo owner who bought this camcorder concluded that it was good in terms of USB connections. Macworld.com mentioned on expert review site Mac World seven years ago “Has a retractable USB connector, like most of its pocket-camcorder competition” however they only gave the Memorex MyVideo a rating of 3 stars.

Good Screen / Viewfinder

One Memorex MyVideo reviewer who reviewed it thought it had a good screen. Six years ago Pcworld.com_techhive.com mentioned “Bright 2inch LCD display adequate for onthego playback” but even so they gave the Memorex MyVideo a rating of 3 stars.

Poor Design

A few people who reviewed it agreed that it was not a good design. Pcworld.com_techhive.com mentioned in their Memorex MyVideo review “Plasticky build and hohum design” and scored the product 3 stars.

Not Robust

A number of Memorex MyVideo owners who reviewed the product concluded that it was not well made.

Very Slow Maximum Frame Rate

The maximum frame rates of small sensor size camcorders that have been around for more than two years range from 25fps to 60fps. The MyVideo has one of the slower maximum frame rates (only 30 frames per second) amongst small sensor size camcorders of this age.

Quite Small Digital Zoom

When compared to other small sensor size camcorders that have been on the market for a similar time to the MyVideo that we have assessed the digital zoom of, the Memorex MyVideo's digital zoom of only 2 times zoom factor is one of the smallest. Across all the small sensor size camcorders that are a similar age to the MyVideo the digital zooms range from 1.5x to 3,500x.
