The Canon XC10 supports a better memory card type than most similar spec camcorders that have been on the market for more than a year. This video camera supports an SDXC memory card, whereas most camcorders of a similar age and type to it support an SDHC memory card. This Canon camcorder also support CFast 2 and CFast and SD memory cards. SDXC cards are SD cards but with a much higher capacity and faster processing speeds.
